Project: Site design and build for Life Coach Suzie Kerr Wright

As I initially spoke with Suzie about her site, I thought two things:
- This would be good opportunity to get into WordPress
- Oh, God. I hope I’m not full of fail on this.
As it turned out, the drama level was actually pretty low and the educational value was incredibly high. I got familiar with the all-important WordPress “loop,” and learned about modifying themes (this one started out like this). We went with an “atomic retro” look, along with a cartoon Suzie drawn just for the header of the site (the flower in her hair is her signature). Suzie ended up being really happy with the site, and I was happy with myself for finally finding the time and courage to get into WordPress. Check it out here.
